Week 1a: Getting Started

I've never had much concern for blogs, but I'm actually a little relieved to be forced to make one so I can get out of my bubble and try some new things. So far so good. I feel pretty good with technology as far as making things efficient and professional, but these newfangled things like blogs and Facebook just don't strike my radar with the same weight. They're flashy and social and you put in a lot of effort for fun . . . but no significant end product.

Only this last few semesters have I seen teachers really using blogs and wiki's to compile great information that really helps the class and the learning environment and I'm very interested in finding what I can do with technology to make it my own while increasing learning.

Spring term moves VERY quickly and even though I only have a few classes it takes a real effort to keep up with everything. In the next little bit I hope to post a few pictures or videos. They're nor really to share (I'm not big on sharing), but for the experience.
